A good friend of mine "Bud Wiley" runs a car at the Salt Flats, so I thought that was a good reason to go to Speed Week. My son Arthur and I headed out the morning of August, 12th, getting to the Salt Flats about 6:00 P.M. that evening. The next morning the cars would start there runs. Bud and Karen set Arthur and I up as part of there crew, so we were not restricted to the spectator area only. |
